With a 96% Protection Rate,
Frontline Defied the Odds.
During the LA Wildfires, 59 Frontline Homes Survived the Inferno.
When record-breaking wildfires tore through Los Angeles in January 2025, entire neighborhoods were devastated by unprecedented wildfires. And yet, 59 homes protected by Frontline Wildfire Defense systems not only remained standing after the blaze, but were left largely intact.

Why Was it so Unstoppable?
The Perfect Conditions For a Historic Fire
On January 7, 2025, multiple blazes erupted all across Los Angeles County. With ferocious Santa Ana winds reaching speeds of 80-100 mph in L.A., embers carried miles ahead of the established fire in every direction, quickly igniting homes faster than crews could respond. Firefighters were forced to focus on saving lives, leaving tens of thousands of structures exposed. It was a scenario so many had feared, but few had really thought possible: a powerful combination of extreme natural conditions that resulted in a catastrophe.

“Many factors contributed to the destruction in Pacific Palisades, including extreme winds hitting a neighborhood full of vegetation, with homes in proximity to each other, and surrounded by dry brush.”

Key Conditions at a Glance

Extreme Winds
The Santa Ana wind gusts of 80–100 mph fueled the rapid, uncontrolled spread of the wildfires.

DRY FUELS
Prolonged heat left vegetation highly flammable, burning with intensity.

TOPOGRAPHY
Steep slopes funneled flames uphill, accelerating the spread and blocking access.

Built on the Edge
Communities bordered wildlands prone to natural fire cycles.

Embers
Traveling on the backs of intense winds, embers spread across LA igniting structures and overwhelming already strained crews.
The Inevitable Frontline Was Designed For
The Ultimate Real-World Test of Our System in Action
It was an event we never wanted to see. But it’s one we’d been preparing for rigorously over many years. And we were ready. As the fires advanced, Frontline systems activated across 61 properties. Each step of defense is layered, providing protection designed to outlast days of ember assault.
3-Stage Timeline

Stage 1
Detection & Activation
Remote alerts and activations let families evacuate safely while systems begin protecting the homes.

Stage 2
Layered Ember Defense
Roof and eave sprinklers hydrated surfaces, resisting ember ignition in fierce winds that gusted 80-100mph.

Stage 3
Sustained Protection
When utilities failed, Frontline stayed operational. Built-in WiFi, cellular, and satellite connections, supported by backup batteries, kept the systems online. Early activations saturated homes before water service was lost, while homes with auxiliary water sources continued to run.

“I can say one thing for sure, testing the system for years and now finally seeing it work, I would say it’s more than 100% making an investment where you can have some kind of a defense system for your home.”
A Miracle Outcome?
No, It Was Proven Protection.
Years of Development Left Houses Standing Amongst the Ashes
When record-breaking wildfires tore through Los Angeles in January 2025, entire neighborhoods were devastated by unprecedented wildfires. And yet, 59 homes protected by Frontline Wildfire Defense systems not only remained standing after the blaze, but were left largely intact.
Remember, even under catastrophic conditions, 59 Frontline homes survived. That’s 96%.
And that’s the kind of stat local news stories were eager to cover.

But Why Were Two
Frontline Homes Lost?
Sadly, those were outlying cases caused by ember intrusion into interiors and direct flame on a steep canyon. Basically, conditions that our systems weren’t designed to combat. And it reinforces the need for layered defenses, including automated sprinklers (water & foam), fire-resistant construction, and defensible space.

With Frontline, Your Home
Can Withstand Wildfires.
Now you can live where you love.
The dedication, the testing, and the years of research all paid off. Frontline proved itself under some of the worst conditions Los Angeles has ever seen. And it’s protection you can give your home, at a time when the dangers of wildfires continue to increase. If you’d like to learn more about a system that has recently been awarded one of Time’s Best Inventions of 2025 please get in touch anytime.
*Past Results Are Not a Predictor of Future Performance. Based on 2025 Los Angeles wildfire outcomes: 59 of 61 Frontline-protected homes remained intact, though some experienced minor damage. Not all homes were within the official burn perimeter but were in areas at risk from ember exposure or active wildfire conditions. Results may vary.
Wildfires are inherently unpredictable and dangerous. Use of the Frontline Wildfire Defense System is not a guarantee against loss of life or property from a wildfire.
