We’re excited to announce that Frontline has closed a $48 million Series-A round in a mix of primary and secondary funding led by Norwest. This is a milestone for our company that will enable us to expand operations, enhance our technology, and bring fully integrated wildfire defense to more homes and neighborhoods nationwide.
As Wildfire Risk Increases, Frontline Stays Steadfast
Millions of structures across the U.S. are exposed to increasingly severe fires and traditional reactive approaches are falling short. During the 2025 Los Angeles fires, Frontline systems protected 61 homes in some of the hardest-hit neighborhoods and 96% of those homes survived. “The Los Angeles fires demonstrated what we’ve always believed, that proactive, technology-driven wildfire defense works,” said Harry Statter, CEO and founder of Frontline Wildfire Defense. “While traditional approaches focus on reaction and recovery, we’re enabling communities to live safely with wildfire through prevention and preparation. Our approach is proactive and adaptive, working with natural processes rather than against them. This round of funding will accelerate our ability to scale protection for thousands of at-risk homeowners and businesses.”
Driving Momentum When it Matters Most
Frontline’s technology is the most advanced and comprehensive wildfire defense solution available. It’s the first system in its class to combine data, design, hardware, and software, specifically engineered to prevent ember ignition (the leading cause of home loss during wildfires). Our system protects structures with water and Class-A foam, can be installed in new or existing homes, and operates remotely so homeowners can evacuate safely. With backup batteries, satellite connectivity, and water intelligence, our defenses keep working even when wildfires damage municipal infrastructure.
Editors at TIME recognized this impact by naming the Frontline Defense System 2 one of their 2025 Best Inventions, It has also earned industry accolades from the International Builders’ Show (“Best Home Technology”) and the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (Gold Nugget for “Most Innovative Housing Concept”). By partnering with builders and architects like Burdge Architects, Sekisui House U.S., and Thomas James Homes, we’re driving momentum toward widespread adoption and leading the movement for fire-adapted communities. This Series A is further validation that we’re headed in the right direction.
Our Shared Vision
At Frontline, we’re proud to partner with investors who share our vision for proactive wildfire defense. Norwest has a history of backing technology that solves urgent, real-world problems from climate adaptation to community safety.
“We see tremendous opportunity for Frontline’s proven technology to transform how communities prepare for and respond to wildfire threats,” said Jon Kossow, managing partner at Norwest and a board director at Frontline. “The company’s proactive approach to making homes and communities inherently fire-resilient represents the future of wildfire defense. We look forward to supporting Harry and the Frontline team as they bring this solution to more people, businesses, and neighborhoods.”
Their investment signals confidence in our mission and the future of proactive wildfire defense. It also reflects the need for scalable climate adaptation. For homeowners, it means more access to proven systems. For communities, it means entire neighborhoods designed to withstand fire. For society, it’s a step toward a future where living safely with wildfire is the norm, not the exception.
Looking Ahead
Wildfire risk isn’t slowing down, and neither are we. This funding is a step toward a future where prevention and resilience are standard. Together with our partners, homeowners, and communities, Frontline is defining the next generation of wildfire protection.
