Built for the long haul

Why wildfire defense requires a permanent partner.

The industry leader in automated wildfire defense for high-end homes.

Frontline has been pioneering automated wildfire defense technology since 2017. Our team has spent years researching how homes are typically lost during wildfires. We used those insights to build an integrated wildfire defense platform that goes far beyond simple off-the-shelf rooftop sprinklers.

The Frontline system combines real-time wildfire tracking, remote activation capability, and optional resilient power and water backups into a single, connected ecosystem. Each system is custom-engineered to the unique architecture and risks of your property and professionally installed for complete reliability when it matters most.

Frontline is a significant investment that provides lasting protection, and ongoing care is essential to ensure its performance. To maintain operational readiness and preserve your full warranty coverage, the Frontline Maintenance Plan covers routine inspections, preventive maintenance, system testing, and continuous monitoring.*

Frontline is validated, funded, and scaling.

Our wildfire defense system has proven its value when tested under pressure. We’ve achieved significant milestones in our goal of setting the new standard in wildfire protection:

  • Demonstrated real-world reliability with a 96% survival rate** during the devastating 2025 Los Angeles wildfires
  • Named one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025
  • Backed by a $48 million Series-A investment led by Norwest to accelerate growth and expand wildfire defense nationwide
  • Protecting over $5 billion in real estate across the western United States

A system that takes care of itself.

Engineering and installing a custom wildfire defense system is just the beginning. It needs to be ready at all times to respond automatically when wildfire danger approaches. With Frontline, homeowners don’t have to perform complex manual tasks to maintain readiness.

Autonomous health checks

While our trained technicians handle your comprehensive annual maintenance, the Frontline app lets you test and monitor your defense system on your schedule. Run automated health checks, test system functionality, or demonstrate your system for an interested neighbor at any time. With real-time status updates and remote activation at your fingertips, you always know your home is protected.

Software-driven monitoring

As the first software-driven platform to combine real-time monitoring with automated defense, Frontline keeps your property continuously protected. Our technology provides 24/7 monitoring, proactively alerting you when a wildfire is detected nearby and automatically triggering the system when needed. Monitor status and trigger your home’s defenses from anywhere in the world, backed by a resilient network of Ethernet/Wi-Fi, cellular, and satellite connectivity to keep your system online.

Professional calibration

Frontline technicians are trained to perform comprehensive, end-to-end system testing and precision calibration. Beyond fine-tuning pumps and nozzles, our technicians inspect the complete technology that keeps your system operational. This includes testing the controller’s communications (Ethernet/Wi-Fi, cellular, and satellite), battery and solar backups, firmware updates, and dashboard connectivity. Hands-on service guarantees every layer of your defense ecosystem functions exactly as engineered.

Class-A foam replenishment

Maintaining your home wildfire prevention system involves replenishing the biodegradable Class-A firefighting foam. Combined with water, it helps prevent ember ignition by creating an environment that’s too wet to burn. This innovative approach delivers three to five times the wetting efficiency of water alone.

Post-fire system restoration

If your Frontline system activates during a wildfire, our team is here to support you through the recovery process. Once it’s safe to access your property, a trained technician can perform a full post-fire inspection, checking your hardware, replenishing foam supplies, and verifying overall system health. We’re here to help restore your defenses and ensure your system is fully prepared before the next threat arrives.

Frequently asked questions.

Will the system still work if my home loses power or Wi-Fi during a fire?

Yes. Frontline is engineered with built-in redundancy to keep critical systems online. If utility lines fail, integrated battery backups maintain controller power, while dynamic switching between Wi-Fi, cellular, and satellite networks keeps your connection active, so your system can continue monitoring and communicating even during grid outages.

How does the Frontline system perform in cold or freezing climates?

The Frontline system is engineered to withstand harsh alpine conditions and sub-zero temperatures. For homes in areas where temperatures drop below freezing, professional winterization is required to safeguard equipment. A Frontline technician will visit your property to prepare and winterize your system before freezing conditions set in, and return to dewinterize it once conditions allow in the spring.

Do I need to climb on my roof to test or maintain the system?

No. You can use the Frontline App to check and test your system easily from anywhere. Frontline’s professional technicians and field crews handle any necessary physical inspections and system maintenance. You never need to worry about how to maintain your wildfire suppression system because we take care of the details.

How often does the Class-A firefighting foam need to be replenished?

The foam in the Frontline system tank remains stable and ready to suppress ember ignition in a wildfire emergency. It doesn’t need to be regularly replaced and only needs to be replenished after the system has been activated during a wildfire event. During your annual system check, a local technician will check foam levels and handle replenishing your system.

Does maintaining my Frontline system help with home insurance?

Frontline logs system readiness, routine maintenance, repairs, and system activations. Insurers value these verified records when evaluating risk and making underwriting decisions. In addition to recognition from carrier partners like Stand Insurance, Frontline provides an official Certificate of Completion that you can share directly with your broker to help secure or maintain your home’s coverage.

Ready for the long haul.

Adding a professionally engineered, expert-installed defense system prepares your home to meet the challenges of changing wildfire threats. With over $5 billion in real estate currently protected, Frontline is designed to be a permanent wildfire safety solution for your property.

*While homeowners may opt out of a maintenance plan, system equipment warranties require regular maintenance on Frontline’s recommended schedule. Terms, conditions, and limitations apply. See warranty agreement for full details.

**Past Results Are Not a Predictor of Future Performance. Based on 2025 Los Angeles wildfire outcomes: 59 of 61 Frontline-protected homes remained intact, though some experienced minor damage. Not all homes were within the official burn perimeter but were in areas at risk from ember exposure or active wildfire conditions. Results may vary. Wildfires are inherently unpredictable and dangerous. Use of the Frontline Wildfire Defense System is not a guarantee against loss of life or property from a wildfire.
